Vasota also know as VyaghraGad is famous for its dense jungle route surrounded with Tiger reserve area in Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary. A 1.5 hrs boat rides will also accompany you in the trek to reach the Vasota base from where the trek starts. Vasota trek is definitely a must experience jungle trek in Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary.

Vasota is the most popular Jungle trek in Maharashtra. Located deep within the Koyna Wild Life sanctuary, the only way to reach the base of Vasota is by a boat from Tapola or Bamnoli. Vasota is a fort Situated in a dense forest surrounded by a river situated on the banks of the Shivsagar dam

6:00am-Have Breakfast and leave for the trek.

8:30am-Enjoy boating with mesmerizing sunrise, mountains in the backdrop(boat ride-1½ hour)

10:00 am - Reach tapola base 

10:30am-Reach at the village and start trek

12:00 pm-Leave for Vasota fort.

2:00 pm-Enjoy the massive built fort, explore.

4:00pm-Rush near the boat and start the reverse journey.
