A trek for those who would like to come out of their comfort zone, break the monotony & enter the world of trekking. Whether you are an experienced trekker, a newbie, a history buffs, an adventure addict or a nature enthusiasts Vasota has a lot to offer.

Duration: 1 Night 1 Day  

Detailed Itinerary:

Friday

9:00 PM: Depart from Swargate (Opposite to Laxmi Narayan Theatre). Pick up from wakad will be arranged upon demand.

Saturday

12:00 AM: Reach base village, pitch your tents, enjoy the beautiful bonfire, take part in ice breaker sessions, be a stargazer and sleep nearby the river.

06:30 AM: Enjoy the beautiful sunrise & get ready for the adventure.

07:30 AM: Have breakfast

08:00 AM: Depart for Vasota by boat & enjoy 90 mins boat ride.

10.00 AM: Start with the Vasota ascend 

12:00 PM: Reach the top, enjoy the breath-taking views & have lunch.

1:30 PM: Start with the descend and reach the boat point 

3:30 PM: A Boat ride to reach Bamnoli.

05:00 PM: Reach bamnoli, take bath in koyna river, enjoy the sunset and have light snacks.

10:00 PM: Back to Pune (Tentatively). Trek ends but the beautiful memories stay forever.

Inclusions:

Transportation by bus from Pune to Pune

Certified Mountaineer Expertise.

Breakfast, Lunch & Light Snacks.

Camping near the river

Forest Entry Fee, Boating Charges

Emergency Basic First Aid.

Exclusions:

Any expense of personal nature.

Anything not mentioned in Inclusions.

How to be adventure-ready:

Brisk walks for 2-3 days prior to the trek.

Don't consume alcohol or any other drug the night before the trek.

Carry 2-3 liters of water for the trek & stay hydrated.

Carry light snacks & fruits for the trek.

Carry a bed sheet for the night

Take out your trek pants, trekking/sports shoes. (Mandatory).

Raincoat/ Poncho (Monsoon Measures not necessary in winters).

Carry a lunchbox for the trek.

Sunscreen.

Cap to protect you from sun.

Avoid wearing shorts to protect yourself from insect bites. 

Carry your personal medication if any.

A waterproof cover for your mobile (Monsoon Measures not necessary in winters).

Extra Pair of clothes.

Flip flops for your return journey as your shoes might get wet.
