Schedule:
Day 0 - Friday
23:00 hrs – Pick up from Dadar
23:15 hrs – Pick up from Chembur
23:45 hrs – Pick up from Vashi Highway
Day 1- Saturday
06:00 hrs – Reach Velas eco-village
06:30 hrs – Freshen up, have some tea and get ready to visit the beach for the first sightings. Post sighting a briedf about Olive Ridley turtles
08:30 hrs – Back to the village for Breakfast & tea
10:00 hrs – Leave for Bankot fort, it gives you mesmerizing views of the velas bech and harihareshwar temple
13:00 hrs – Return to the village and have lunch
17:00 hrs – We will visit the beach for more sighitings of Olive Ridley turtles
18:30 hrs – After the sightings we will watch the documentary based on the journey of Turtles
20:30 hrs – Have dinner and stroll around the village
22:30 hrs – Day Ends!
Day 2 - Sunday
06:00 hrs – Wake up call
06:30 hrs – Visit the beach for the last sighting
08:00 hrs – Back to the village for Breakfast & tea
10:00 hrs – We will leave for harihareshwar beach, the journey includes an exciting ride in the ferry
11:30 hrs – Visit the temple and soak in some Vitamin D at the beach
12:30 hrs – Have Lunch, we will start our return journey after lunch
10:00 hrs – Reach Mumbai. Say your goodbyes with a promise to meet again. This brings us to the end of our trip, Or rather just the beginning.

Cancellation charge of 15% would be deducted from the booking if cancelled 7 days before the event
No refund would be granted if cancelled within 7 days of the event

How will you contact me once I register?
We will be mailing you the details about the event a day or two before the event. We will also create a WhatsApp group on the day of the event.
What is the age limit for this event?
The age limit for the event is 18 years with no upper limit. Participants below the age of 18yrs need to be accompanied by a guardian
Can I come alone?
Yes, many of our participants are solo travellers.
Is it safe for a female solo traveller?
It is completely safe for a female solo traveller as our representatives will be there with you all the time. Moreover, most of our event have 60% female participation.
Can I Bring my Car?
Yes, you can drive till Velas. We will provide you the google map location once you register
Will there be parking?
Parking is available at the village
Is the turtle hatching sighting guaranteed?
Emergence of Hatchlings of turtles is a natural process and is a matter of luck; The tour dates have been planned after precise calculation of probable hatching dates and as per the information provided by volunteers and researchers at Velas. Wandering Souls won’t be held responsible for low or no hatchings
What type of Accommodation will we be living in?
We would be living in a shared accommodation in a local Konkan style home
Would I get cellular connectivity?
You will get limited cellular connectivity at Velas
What type of food will I get?
Local Konkani home cooked Veg Meal
