About the Event
A one of its kind platform in the city to showcase independent contemporary dance work conceptualized and produced by ‘The Movement Arts Co’.
An evening of 3 short contemporary dance performances curated by Avantika Bahl. Opening act choreographed by Shruti Maria Datar followed by performances choreographed by Somya Kautia and Maitreyee Joshi. The performances will be followed by a Q&A with the makers about their work and process. These pieces have emerged beyond the constraints of the commercial dance world or the strict story-telling nature of theater and are an exploration in thought, in expression, and in movement.
Please note:
1. We request you to bring warm clothes as it gets chilly inside the Black Box as temperatures need to be controlled at optimum levels as per technical requirements.
2. Food, beverages and water are strictly prohibited inside the Black Box. Please do not carry them in your bags either.
3. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
4. When attending a program at the G5A warehouse, attendees agree to be photographed/videographed/recorded for promotional use by organizers through both print and electronic media channels.
