Mr. Mahesh Kale has achieved distinction in North Indian classical, semi-classical, Natya Sangeet, and devotional music. He is the proud founder of the Indian Classical Music and Arts Foundation which preserved and promotes Indian classical music. His belief in working with the old and new methods in music to create a beautiful symphony every time has landed him the opportunity of working with stalwarts of music like Zakir Hussain, Trilok Gurtu, Sivamani, Pedro Eustache, George Brooks, and Frank Martin. He has also been awarded the Indian National Film Award for the Best Playback Singer in Katyar Kaljat Ghusli (2016).
