Too tired of starting at the screen? Spend your Sunday morning at Taloja Hill, Navi Mumbai with iNaturewatch!


iNaturewatch aims to reforest the degraded Taloja Watershed, a hill range adjoining the Taloja Lake and Owe dam, through weekly volunteering activities. On 16th January you can join their habitat restoration efforts by helping them assess the survival rate of the plantation.


Safety Measures:

In line with the safety measures issued by the government, volunteers are required to:


  • Maintain a minimum distance of 6 feet at all times
  • Wear face covers/masks at all times

Things to Keep in Mind:

  • Wear closed and comfortable footwear such as sports shoes
  • Wear comfortable clothing
  • Smoking/drinking alcohol/littering is prohibited
  • Carry a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated

iNaturewatch Foundation is a charitable trust working in the field of environmental protection across the country since 2014. Dr. Shubhalaxmi, the Founder, is an award winning entomologist, educationist and entrepreneur. Isaac Kehmikar, the Director and Chairman is popularly known as India's Butterfly Man and has worked in the field of environmental conservation for the past 40 years.
