About the Event
Learn about the fascinating world of sea creatures and Mumbai’s marine life, at Sassoon Dock — one of Mumbai’s largest fish landing centres and its oldest wet dock. In collaboration with Marine Life of Mumbai, you will learn about the history of Mumbai’s marine flora and fauna, see how it’s evolved, and understand the complex world of fishing.
- All participants must be over 15 years old.
- Wearing flip-flops is not advised as we will be walking through an active fish landing centre.
- Photography is prohibited inside Sassoon Docks and cameras are only allowed with prior permission of the authorities.
- Please wear a cap and carry water to keep yourself hydrated.
- Expect a strong smell of fish throughout the walk.
