Event Description The goal of Hand Lettering is to turn letters into visual art.

Delve into the world of Hand lettering through this beginner friendly workshop.

Begin from basic and learn how to turn words into piece of graceful art.

In this workshop we'll learn:

* Basic watercolor techniques

* Learn about materials used for hand lettering

* Color theory : and important element of art

* Learn to draw letters creatively

* How to use guides to create composition

* Find your own style

* Put all the above together and conclude with an artwork using your hand lettering skills.

About the artist - 

Meet Madeeha, a passionate artist and a practicing Early Childhood Educator.

She has always been fascinated by visual arts and has spent most of her time painting. As a child, she used art in making cards for her loved ones. But the idea to sell her art came to life during her undergrad years. She started selling handmade customized diaries, bookmarks and cards at her college flea markets.

A couple of years later she discovered the beautiful Watercolor medium and the art of calligraphy. She instantly fell in love with both. Since then she has been using watercolor and calligraphy as a medium to express herself and create art. Her Instagram account @meet_madeeha .
