The list of films to be screened

VACANCY by Anurag Worlikar

Durgesh Kumar, a young aspirant is going for a one of a kind interview. There is a vacancy but a lot of competition for it. Will he crack the interview or will he fail?

ITWAAR by Rahul Srivastava

Anubhav Verma is a middle aged white collared office-goer who has been forced to relocate to his present home to support his only son's specific studies targeting the premium engineering institutions of the country. He is getting increasingly frustrated when he sees the wards of his neighbours settling into jobs, while his son has not achieved anything significant. Thus his sense of equanimity is disturbed and he starts to assign reasons, real as well as imaginary, to his increasing ill health. His imaginary ill health increasingly begins to affect his mental state, which in turn starts to disturb the equilibrium in his family. This leads to scenes of acerbic altercations with his wife and son. As things seem to hurtle inexorably towards a violent climactic showdown, something suddenly happens which brings the Vermas back on a normal track.

Religion For Dummies by Kabeer Khurana

A trippy, satirical stop-motion short film depicting the fraudulent religious cults and practices in India. The film has been screened as an official selection at several film screening across the world.

Aadha Quarter by Sharmista Nag

Chhintu works as a cleaner in a dingy bar. He is compelled by the owner to caste aside his morals and induce the customers to drink more. Chhintu takes up the job with ease, using his charm to lull the customers into a sense of security, until a genuine friendship with one of the customers brings about a change of heart in Chhintu.

Selected at The Imagineindia International Film Festival, Madrid (2016).

The screening will be followed by a discussion which will be moderated by Raghav Aggarwal - a graduate of the 2-Year Acting Conservatory Program at William Esper Studio, New York City. And the founder of Actor's Craft.
