Delhi, welcome to a hands-on farming workshop by Edible Routes, full of inspiration for the cold months. Your gamlas are empty, and you start craving aloo methi, sarson ka saag and mooli ke kofte? Then fellow citizens, fear not because rainy season is over, and October (actually the month of Kartik) is the perfect time to sow all your winter vegetables.

This hands-on workshop will teach you all you need to know to get started in this season on your terrace or garden. You will be sowing and planting our community farm beds and our roof top – and there is nothing like learning by doing! While sowing and planting together, you will cover not only the requirements of greens, herbs and the gobi family, but also how potatoes, onion, garlic, root vegetables and more can successfully be grown even in a small space. Aiming at inspiring you to create a diverse food landscape at home, you will practically see how vegetables can be combined to achieve healthy and productive plants.
