About the Event

WITHIN THIS SELF | YA GHAT BHEETAR by Shruthi Veena Vishwanath

Presented by TIFA Working Studios and Evolving Culture Foundation in collaboration with Goethe Institut, Pune.

Celebrating World Music Day with Fete de la Musique Weekender 2023 - the rhythmic recital brings bhakti to life through a deep musical moment to think about our bodies as a vessel. The performance as a tool to be shapeless, formless, porous yet holding, catalysis the thought - can we begin our discovery to attempt self-realisation?

Lost oral histories of the women of warkari tradition brought back through a contemporary lens with rawness, relevance and resilience.
