The Brain XL series of workshops are developed by Young-Scientist to help your brain work better and for you to excel!

This is a workshop that takes a practical approach to develop critical thinking. The aim is to help the participants perform analysis, find efficient problem-solving strategies and become better thinkers as a whole. This course also serves as a training for Olympiads and Talent Search Exams. All necessary worksheets and materials will be provided. Activities and worksheets will demand the application of theory to real-life problems.

• Develop skills in logical, verbal and spatial reasoning.
• Learn the strategies in solving pattern recognition type problems
• Numeric Sequences
• Geometric Sequence
• Have good fun and become better thinkers!

Workshop Objective:

• Introduce the concept of tessellations
• Establish the importance of pattern recognition in science
• Provide examples of pattern recognition problems
• Solve different problems and get trained in the different associated skills
• Appreciate the multiple approaches and solutions to such problems

Instructions for online workshop participants :

1. The registered number will be added to a temporary WhatsApp group where further instructions will be shared.

2. The online session will take place over Zoom Meetings.

3. A computer with Speakers/headphones and a reliable internet connection is necessary.

4. The facilitator will share their computer screen where the content will be displayed (Powerpoint presentation, worksheets, software UI, videos, simulations, virtual tour etc.).

5. The facilitator will also be giving live audio commentary and explanations.

6. The participants can interact with the facilitator using the chat feature.

7. The participants will have their audio muted and their webcam stopped to ensure a smooth streaming experience for all.

8. One ticket permits one device (computer/tablet) to join the Zoom Meeting

9.The live stream of the online session is only for personal use, and thus shouldn't be recorded or transmitted or projected to an audience unauthorised by the organizer
